Matthew J Gotta, DMD – Owner of Key Dental
Dr. Matthew Gotta is a friendly, compassionate general dentist who believes great dental care starts with getting to know the person behind the smile. At Key Dental, he takes pride in providing tailored, patient-centered care in a comfortable setting where patients feel recognized, heard, and cared for as individuals
Dr. Gotta focuses on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, helping patients of all ages maintain healthy smiles and achieve their personal dental goals. Whether someone is coming in for routine care, rebuilding their smile, or simply trying to feel more comfortable at the dentist, his approach is thoughtful, evidence-based, and personalized to each patient’s needs.
He earned his undergraduate degree in zoology from Miami University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Gotta regularly attends continuing education courses, seminars, and dental conventions to stay current with modern techniques and provide the highest level of care.
Dr. Gotta grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago and currently lives in Vernon Hills with his wife, Ariel, and their dog, Zeus. Outside the office, he enjoys fitness and traveling to new places.
